Focusing on the visual image of on-stage performing musicians, this series of paintings covers a fifteen year period of interpretation and productivity. The results have been over fifty, colorful and highly creative, mixed-media, collage paintings. Using paper, leather products, fabric, found objects and pieces of metal combined with acrylic and oil paint, this series, which included eighteen paintings, was first exhibited in 1992 at Gallery Piazza in Sausalito, California. Since then the series
continues to grow and has been displayed at several galleries in St Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota, Wahington DC, the San Francisco Bay area as well as in Humbolt and Merced counties California. The series is ongoing and maintains a constant interpretation of music as stage entertainment and its sometime visual reflection of America.
